About the Forward Design Group

Forward Design Group was created in 2003 in an effort to bring much needed consultation to the growing mid-century modernism design resurgence.

We bring contemporary design sensibilities to honoring and integrating original mid-century design ideas and materials.

Bryan Forward has more than 20 years experience and exposure to the study of mid-20th century design, architecture, furnishings, and arts, both decorative and fine.

A native of all of the southern California climates, Bryan brings a unique perspective to clients in the design of their unique indoor/outdoor living experience.

Bryan lives with his wife and two children in their ca.1963 California contemporary home (a.k.a., the FDG design lab) in Carlsbad, CA.
